Mysteries by Goldrain

The challenge: Britsh alt-pop band Goldrain needed needed more than a cover and the usual scatter of promo assets for their debut album—they needed something that could hold the same emotional arc as the record itself, track by track.

The thinking: Built a single non-binary character and let them travel through a series of imagined, dreamlike landscapes—one illustration per track—so the visuals moved the way the album does: a gradual descent inward, a journey through self-discovery rather than a set of standalone covers.

The result: A complete illustrated visual world—seven scenes forming one continuous journey—translating an album about self-discovery into a story you can watch unfold alongside listening to it. The series was later exhibited at Nocny Market in Warsaw.

Thinking first.
